ENVIRONMENTAL FUND

1. GENERAL AND SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

The purpose of this Regulation is to finance measures that promote rehabilitation, decarbonisation, energy efficiency, water efficiency and circular economy in buildings, contributing to the improvement of the energy and environmental performance of buildings. In this context, actions to be developed in existing housing buildings, built up to 2006, that contribute to the goals defined in the National Energy and Climate Plan 2021-2030 (PNEC 2030), approved by RCM no. / 2020, of July 10, and in the Long-Term Strategy for the Renovation of Buildings (ELPRE), as well as for other environmental objectives.

2. DEADLINES FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS

The deadline for submitting applications to the Incentive runs from September 7, 2020 until 11:59 pm on December 31, 2021 or until the estimated allocation is exhausted. PLANNED REOPENING FOR BEGINNING OF MARCH 2021.

3. GEOGRAPHICAL SCOPE

The incentive program covers the entire national territory.

4. BENEFICIARIES

Eligible natural persons who own existing and occupied dwelling buildings, single-family, autonomous fractions in multi-family buildings or multi-family buildings, built by the end of 2006.

5. TYPOLOGY OF PROJECTS, APPROPRIATION AND PARTICIPATION FEES

The allocation for this Incentive is € 1,750,000 (one million seven hundred and fifty thousand euros) in 2020 and € 2,750,000 (two million seven hundred and fifty thousand euros) in 2021.


The maximum incentive attributed to each of the types of intervention, therefore already with a 70% share, is shown in the following table.


As an example, in the case of the acquisition of efficient Class + windows, regardless of their cost, the maximum incentive for this type is EUR 1500. In the case of class A + heat pumps, the maximum incentive to be granted by the Environmental Fund is 2500 EUR.
